MICROSOFT® OFFICE SPECIALIST
Anyone seeking an Office Administration or Executive Assistant position knows that having solid, advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft® Office Suite is an essential component of their employment skills set. Microsoft® Office Certification tells prospective employers that an applicant has an above average ability in these skills.
Students are led through the elements of the Office 2003 (the latest release) for basic to advanced facility in:
MSWord
MS Excel
MS PowerPoint
MS Outlook
During the first phase of the program, students are taught the skills needed to master the individual applications within the Office Suite. The second phase integrates these skills so students can move seamlessly from one application to another.
Student progress is evaluated on a per unit basis. Students demonstration mastery of the unit will move on to the next. At the completion of the course, students are pre-tested to determine areas that may need refreshment before writing the Certification test. Upon passing the test, the student is issued a Certificate of Achievement indicating they are a Certified Microsoft® Office Specialist (MOS).
