New Opportunities Learning Centre is an adult learning centre specializing in upgrading skills and ESL (English as a Second Language). We offer a wide range of courses for different vocations as well as custom designed courses for more specialized needs.    

Our Centre offers prospective Security Officers and students of Law Enforcement pre-training in English vocabulary, key terms and applicable grammar as an introduction to the job requirements or training at a Private Career College.

The ESL for Security course covers:
  
Conversational skills to speak with the public, reading and understanding Manuals/General Procedures and communication for special purposes:

• Medical emergencies
• Criminal or suspicious activity
• Deliveries/logs
• Operational emergencies (power/elevator failure, fire, flood, leaks)
• Lost and found
• Move ins/outs
• Tenant complaints
•  Parking Report writing/filling out forms
